2.2. Writing the plural of nouns

In many Slavic languages, and especially in the Macedonian language, the plural of nouns and adjectives is often formed by adding и[i] at the end of the noun in singular.  In the analyzed text, we also identified the formation of the plural in this way, as in the example: 

It is very important to mention that in [9], the authors are claming that for forming the plural of nouns a vertical line was added at the end of the word.  However, in contrast to our research and findings, the authors treat the sign for vertical line only as a simple mark for the plural.  This is completely comprehensible if it is known that according to [9] it is not possible to read the demotic script sign for sign (in accordance with our findings that corresponds to reading/writing syllable for syllable), but is being read word for word.
